Sue

Hang on in there, I we can have days like this, I dont know whats wrong but please keep going, you have been so brave, so strong but noone is unbreakable. Your journey has been so tough, perhaps its just caught up with you, so often when we are fighting our way through life we dont actually have time to realise the actual feelings of stress we are under. Its normal to be out of puff for a while when you have stuggled against the tide, you may just be out of puff and you cant take the pace anymore. Take some time out, have a scream, do whatever you need to do but please, let us know, we are here for you as always.

Love and best wishes

Hi Sue
Please don't despair,i can't understand how you must feel with everything you have been through,as much as i have my own debt problems and failed an iva i havn't experienced br and the prospect of looseing my home.
Thats enough to send most over the edge, but you have been a tonic for posters on this forum, your down to earth honesty and humour have helped so many, don't give up now,i read your post to mike yesterday and it moved me,that someone who has been through so much cares enough to continue supporting others.
We are here for you Sue hang in there.
If just by talking we can help then please keep posting.
With loads of heartfelt love coming your way

Tracy

Thank you guys - I think the reality of what has happened has really hit home. My Mum has no idea about what I am going through - she phoned me last night and I found myself lying to her. I cannot tell her what is going on, she lives too far away and at her age I don't want her to worry her. I don't want to turn this into a "Oh woe is me" but dammit, I get so blimmin lonely. It feels like I am on a roller coaster - up and down all the time and never seem to get anywhere.

Ah well! Thanks for listening everyone.

Sue

Sue I feel for you I really, do I too am so down at the minute that I can't pick myself up. Stay strong as from previous posts you have been an inspiration to a lot of us. If you need to chat I'm a good listener, I don't have any solutions but listen well or so I'm told. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi sadsack -

You are absolutely right about the up and down feelings. I get days too when I feel depressed about the whole thing - yet other days I wake up feeling good about the future and looking forward to 2012 (scheduled completion of my arrangement). I think the whole process of an IVA and the changes it makes to your life are bound to knock you sideways sometimes.

I would not feel bad about not telling your mum. I have not told mine either as I know she would just worry about it and would probably not really understand the whole concept. I know a lot of people do tell family but I think that whether or not anyone does so is a very personal decision and only that person can decide whether it is the right thing to do or not. It is certainly not wrong not to tell them if that feels right.

Hope you are back on the "up" roller coaster soon!!!! Or should that be the "down" roller coaster??? Anyway - which ever one is the good one!!!!

Oh Sue, I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling down. When I first went BR I was up and down all the time but eventually you accept things and go with the flow. Even now I still get down (when I get letters on a Saturday from the OR!) but I know I am now on the home straight.

Good luck Sue, we are all here for you x

I know that feeling to..for me it was like a merry go round...i just wanted it to stop for 5 mins so i could get off, catch my breath and i would gladly get back on again....it does stop eventually...sometimes you have to just put your feet down to slow it.

I havent done BR so aint going sit here and say i know how you feel cos i dont...but i can sympathise and say that it must be so hard...you'll get through it though. xx

Hi Sue

Know the feeling as well and we didn't want to tell the family.

The problem came when we decided to move and explaining to the family was the hardest.

Kathryn's parents were supporting though and have been very good and have made a strong point of wanting to spend Christmas with us which is very nice as it will be our first Christmas!

Even paid off creditors not being able to draw down money from Credit cards makes life still hard but the comfort is that we are not in debt and know we can only enjoy what we have!
