My Mum always said -- "love them all and marry none!!!"

Her other profound saying "Love them all and tell them nothing!!!"

Thanks Ang - we have decided that after dropping the bombshell last night, this weekend is going to be spent going thru everything and explaining what and how it all happened. Should be interesting!

He sounds great Sue. I have a very supportive hubby and as I always dealt with the money, I felt that extra guilt that it was my fault, but he has never once made me feel that way, as he says he knew about every card and every loan and he was as responsible just as much. So much stress has gone now as I'm sure it will for you.

Another great success story for the forum!

This goes to show that this community is not just about stuffy technical advice and negative comment about IPs and the creditors. It is an enormous support mechanism which empowers people with confidence to tackle situations which they feel unable to do so. Sharing experiences with each other if so important, and Sue I am so happy that you have taken courage to hit this sensitive area face onwards and have a wonderfully supportive partner.

All of our other posters, including those who watch quietly in the background, will take great comfort from your experience and hopefully have the courage to share their problems with their own life partners as well.

Well done!
