Earning an extra 5k over 6 months should have been disclosed to your IP. I think you know this already but it may highlight to others who may be in the same boat. Come clean with your company soonest and expect to pay some of the extra over. It may be possible to extend the iva to allow you to make up the shortfall.

Surely you must have some sort of receipt, paperwork with the quote on, some sort of guarantee? I can't believe anyone, especially someone in an IVA would just hand over £2.5k in cash to someone they don't know with no written documentation whatsoever????
