Hi All,

Had my creditors meeting today and the IVA has been approved with no modifications the IP called to say the following:

Barclaycard debt 17K No vote received
Barclays Bank debt 14K No vote received
AA Financial Services debt 9K No vote received
MBNA debt 10K Accepted per proposal
Creation finance Debt 1/2K Accepted per proposal
Capital one Debt 1K Voted with modifications rejected by IP.

Works out at 35p in the pound!!!!!
Thanks for all the advice and support over the past few months experts and forum members its great to know you have people that understand keep you up to date in the future.
just want to sleep now

Well done Todd,a great result.
Very interesting that Barclaycard had the deciding vote but failed to vote !!! Very strange and I wonder if it was an admin error on their part.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your messages.

Andy yes I mentioned barclaycards non vote to the IP he suggested that Barclaycard are under resourced at moment to deal with all the IVA work so maybe he knows something. Anyway the debt collection arm called today and had no knowledge of my IVA meeting on the system though i pointed out i had received correspondence from the company prior to the meeting confirming they were aware so maybe the IP is right they still wanted a payment though i referred them to the IP as i have been told.

I had the first decent nights sleep in years it was the Automated phone calls and contacting my work place that was the final straw i had to take action. I know i will have to deal with it for a bit longer but feel much more confident at moment the spiral of debt has been broken i have lived on a budget for years already most of my debt was from my 18 to 24 years believe it or noy im now 40 I should of took action years ago i have paid the debts over and over again but never got anywere anyone who reads this seek professional help as soon as you can i have lost a large chunk of my life, lost a relationship, lost a great job due to the stress but i will bounce back but never with credit..
