I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Melanie Giles and Tom this week. . .I feel very lucky to have done so,and I have utmost confidence in them. I have just applied for a lump sum IVA, and even if this fails, I know that I will have been given the best opportunity possible with Melanie and her team. Fingers crossed, but if all else fails, I am very pleased that they dealt with my application. Anyone looking for an IVA, then Mel is your girl!

Hey robbo, good luck with your proposal. I did the same and mine was accepted. You'll have to let us all know when your meeting is. Melanie is great isn't she? X

I met Melanie at a Frugal Friends meeting and it was a pleasure to finally meet her.

I don't think anything has been decided yet Lesley.

Melanie is lovely, and I wish I'd known about her when I first realised I had problems.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Melanie to anyone looking for an IP.

I'll second that Skippy, that's if I knew anyone to recommend her to! I never talk IVA's off here! Although my friend who is having IVF sometimes hears IVA instead of IVF

I am going to be arranging some informal get togethers around the country during the forthcoming year, and will let you have more details when they are all arranged.

Hopefully as many of you as possible can attend, as some very strong friendships have developed over the forum during the last couple of years, and it is great to meet old up with old friends when we can.

Count me in too.....I'm ashamed to say, living so close to Melanie's office I have never made the effort to call in. It's only because Melanie is not our IP and I wouldn't want to waste her time.

I'd certainly make all the effort to meet up with you all - especially after missing out at the last FF.

xx

We'd definitely be up for it. We loved the Christmas one (our first) and it would be great to meet up with the people from there, plus new people who we haven't met before!
