I have 3 morgages, 2 of which are 'buy to lets' and the other ia a personal morgage.
1 'by to let' mortgage and my personal mortgage have recently been handed to recievers due to an arrea of around 4000 per property. The recievers have stated that they intentd to auction the 2 properties on the 19th feb 09. I've had little opportunity to fight this although it does appears that I may have a chance to sell the properties privately.
Can i do this to avoid the recievers selling them ?
What rights do I have ?
I'd also like to mention that no 'repossesion' hearing or order has taken place ! is this correct ?
I don't know the answer I'm afraid, but I'll bump this back up so that one of the professional experts can see it and advise.

If Fixed Charge receivers have been appointed over your properties it is unlikely that you will be allowed to sell them, but any co-operation you are able to afford to the receivers I am sure would be gratefully received.
Once receivers are appointed over the properties, they effectively become the mortgagee's agents and have sole power of sale.
