Hi David,

I was wondering if you were still online or looking at this thread? I enquired into an IVA and as yourself and Melanie advised, I do not think an IVA will be suitable for me, especially at this moment in time.

The thing is that I'm not really worried and would certainly consider bankruptcy as an option as I do not think that an IVA would work.

I am currently temping at the moment and earning a weekly wage.

Could you give me any more advice on bankruptcy other than what you have given already? In terms of process and also whether or not they approved in most cases?

Obviously, Australia is in our plans but I have to think about the short-term rather than the long term.

Hi Jamie, just to let you know that I was declared bankrupt last week and the court process wasn't as bad as I thought. I have my OR interview next Tuesday and I am posting everything in my blog, which I will keep updating. I hope this helps, and good luck
