Very well thank you Jan - little dog follows my husband around all over the place! My mother is still doing well - all I would like now is some warm weather! J

Fox - I understand what your saying

Its easy to say i'll be done in 3 years and don't care if anyone gets paid
But thats kinda the reason this country is in such a mess

I would have felt better if I'd paid some to the people I owe by now

Oh well... 2 years past, i'll keep an eye out during year 3 to see if anything actually makes it to people

I'm sure it will fuzzy. You have a guaranteed divident to be paid to your creditors, and as the amount you are paying in has gone up, I am sure the dividend will have as well. Email your case officer and ask what it is now.

I am sure that some of your money will have been paid across by the time you have your next review.

J - glad your mum is doing ok. I'll bet the pup is adorable. I've just been fussing a three month old bulldog who lives across the road. Gorgeous!

Fuzzy, I guess what I am trying to say is that for me an IVA is just a means to an end & that whatever fees were agreed at my meeting the creditors were happy with or the IVA would not have been approved!

Lets not forget that the banking system has proved to be no more responsible than I have been over the last few years & although I wish to pay as much back as possible I am not going to lose sleep about what they receive, hopefully like me will learn from their mistakes

thats a good view Fox84, shared responsibility for the debt and also the view that the creditors are happy with the fees and you are happy with the monthly payments. Personally I don't think it matters who gets what and when as long as both parties are happy with the arrangement the IP supervises the agreement properly then the job is done for me.

spot on fox84.
we all have duties and liabilities however i dont think anyone goes from manageable debt to uncontrolable debt on purpose.
therfore take all the help available.
my reason for non guilt is that i think of all the interest ive paid over the years.

Good point team, I must have paid thousands over the years but I guess that's the rub if you go down the credit route, I never say never but I sure as hell don't intend to go down the same route!!

hi fox84,
ive just completed my iva application and i must be totally honest i made credit mistakes in life by trying to better myself, not by wasting it.
things never went as planned and i crossed over the line into unmanageable debt.
you have to move on in the best, least damaging way possible.
gd luck
