'Comtemplating Sucide because of debt?' There is no honour amongst men in that......The government should committ sucide first by all resigning

Now,is it your fault your are in debt or lose your job? No, the banks got everyone in debt in Europe and in the US! Governments are causing the cutbacks in recruitment.Private firms are holding back from investment as people don't spent. National Debt levels are officially not going down even now with austerity put in place?? Deficit reduction programmes has been based on a pack of a lies.

It is now a well known fact, spurred on by an ONS chart publised yesterday, what a splash, that shows UK is going no where in getting out of the Recession - compared with the last three(1970s, late 70s and early 90s) that suggested the country should be out of this 2008 one by now. Experts like David Blanchflower from the interest rate setting committee said Osbourne should resign.

The Tories have screwed up and cannot blame Labour for the crisis. Ed Ball was right along by saying governments and businesses should spend more and not cut backs. 90% of the cuts are yet to be implemented.

The governemnt should commit sucide for not getting a single policy RIGHT! Don't blame yourself for someone's mistakes.Get even.

I will never trust anyone who tries to run the UK or who has never been Working Class in there lives.
Same goes for anyone in management.
The way i was brought up was you work from the Bottom to the Top.
Now it seems you either have to be Blue Blooded and Born with a Silver Spoon in your Mouth or you are one of the Elite Privileged with Private Education bought for by Mummy and Daddy and get a University Degree in Business Studies and straightaway you are put into the Position of either a Senior Executive or High Class Management and stuff the lower classes in giving people from the Shop Floor a Chance.
That is why there is this Massive Divide.
Today it is either Them or Us and i will always be on the side of Us!!!!

Anonymous - Welcome to the forum, your health is so important and as everyone has already mentioned I hope you have been in contact with your GP.
The IVA payments can be negotiated like we are currently doing for you and as Melanie has mentioned,do make sure you are satisfied with the revised payment and that it is affordable.
Hope you are feeling a little better,
Karol

Just supporting what other people have said - there are a few well know charity organistions out there 24 hours per day -as well as your GP if you need to talk /discuss how your feeling - and there is no need to give them your personal details. Just sometimes it helps to talk over your feelings with someone you dont know

Anonymous - I'm with you mate, every step of the way. There's been alot of talk from people on here about that dark place and I'm currently living in it every day, trying to keep it from my family, my company and the rest of the world. My GP who I had a great rapport with has been away from work for 4 months and I refuse to take anti depressants, whatever I'm feeling I want to feel, want to live through and want to beat, or lose to, whatever it takes. The funny thing is, for me it isnt the debt, but the suicide of my son that's eating at me, the debt is pretty meaningless compared to that..not to dismiss how you're feeling in any way, what I mean is that's just how it is to me. An IVA gave me 1 less thing to worry about and for that reason, it's worth it.

I hope that you get things sorted, but please don't let it get on top of you (yeah I know, stupid thing to say) it really is, only money and there are things that are far more valuable.

Hi,

I really hope that things look up for you. If you take nothing else from this forum, take that you are not alone in how you feel. Many of us have been there and the positive is that you do come out the other end, it just takes time and support.

As others have said, you must speak to your GP and vent on here and look for support from your family, it is only a saying but a problem shared is a problem halved, if for no other reason than it gives others a chance to show you that you are not alone and that they/we understand what you are going through.

When I first went into my IVA I also went through a messy divorce, I hated myself, I was 32 and living at my Mum's house, I was so depressed I ended up drinking heavily, it was all downhill. I got help and I can't say enough how great my GP and friends were. Now five years on, IVA is finished, Lessons learnt, new partner and a baby on the way.

Stick with it, remember that people care. It will get better.

Welcome Anonymous3
My old Dad had a simple phylosphy - Health, Wealth and Happiness - in that order. Translate that to GP, IP & a couple more years down the line.

Dad wasn't all that healthy physically, never had a lot of money but died happy at the age of 92.

First visit GP and we are all here for you.
