i have had no confirmation of the fact that my IVA has been paid off early.

Do it the old fashioned way in writing by recorded delivery so that you have a paper trail if you need to escalate it to a complaint.

Please do ask them again when this is likely but until then I'm afraid you're bound by the Terms and Conditions of your IVA.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
