I am a UK resident who lives, works and rents in the UK, and owns a property with some equity in Spain.
If I enter into an IVA in the UK, do I have to declare my assets in Spain please?

Hi Adrian and welcome to the forum.

Yes, if you go for an IVA, you will have to declare your property in Spain.

Kallis is correct - you have to make an honest declaration of all assets on your statement of affairs wherever they are located around the world.

How much do you owe to your creditors and how much equity is there in the Spanish property - bearing in mind the markets are tumbling over there?
