I too didnt make any token payment once i had engaged with the IVA process, didnt see the point and i was advised making a payment would bare no weight on the creditors making a decision for or against the IVA being accepted.
I agree with the above, save it into a contingency fund [:)]

We did the same as Footiemad sent £5.00 to all are creditors if i was starting again now i would just save it because you never know when you might need it.
No. It makes no differnce at all to the voting whether or not you make any token paments.
You would be behind with your payments but then wouldn't that be happening anyway?

with advice from here we made no token payments & this had no impact on our IVA. we had 1 particular nasty call with a guy threatening us for token payments, that he'd "be voting on your IVA,& i'll decide if it's accepted or not!".
they may try to bully/frigthen you- stand firm!!
it felt uncomfortable, but it was the best advice. save your spare £ for your emergency fund- you'll be so glad of it at some point.
Recovering, you don't moan - you come here for support,as we all have/do[;)]. you are doing well under a lot of stress at the moment,hang in there. going back to the thread didn't you open a saving account at the start to put allowances? might help Hyperdrive.
