After countless phones calls and waiting for call backs from GT and a email which had IVA FORUM as the subject and still no reply. I am posting this story to let you all know just what i have gone through over last 2 days with GT.

So my IVA is swapped to GT from Money debt & credit back in August which I was fine with I agree to the T & c's as per there letters by a phone call. Then i have multiple phone calls saying I have not agreed. I then get harassed by EIC over PPI claims which have already been paid out and put back into the IVA I eventually get them off my back.

Now its payment day for the first time with GT and guess what 2 payments taken.
The story behind this is. I emailed GT asking for Direct debit date change to the 26th sept from the 1st sept. email back saying yes not a problem. so think nothing of it again. In till i ring to check something else with them. I ask to confirm the DD date and get told NO!! that;s impossible at this stage we cant change you DD date if you want to change please set up a standing order and cancel the DD for the 1st which I did no issues.
GT set up a new direct debit sent out no confirmation of the change and yesterday took 2 payments 1 by DD and a standing order which i set up.
now luckily i got to the bank in time who have reversed the DD and the money has returned to my account.
my rant is GT have disgusting communication skills and there inter department communication is 0% by looks.
And im fed up of paying 0845 phone calls to try and sort this issues out hence why i use there call back service which im still waiting on and countless email replys.
for 3.5 years i had no issues with MDC. 1 month with GT and im ready for to burst out into a mental rage on someone. i really hope who ever monitors this thread from GT find my email from yesterday with my number on and calls me back or I am going to take this complaint further I will even look into a legal way to swap compaines. [:(]

Remember your direct debit guarentee if they mess up GT liable for any charges or problems that occur.
As for GT not knowing what one hand is doing while the other hand is undoing it, thats par for the course THE most unprofessional company ive ever had to deal with by far.
Time to end of IVA 0 days
Time to end of GT dealing with it...CC recieved after a battle royal !!

I can imagine how frustrating this is for so many posters and I can imagine the distress it causes...how can communication lack so much to their own clients is beyond me!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I have been waiting since June to see if my month 54 valuation proving negative equity is accepted. On the last email I sent in August I said if I don't hear within 30 days I shall assume they agree. Still nothing. When I get through on the phone they can't help me. Hopeless they are

In taking over another large portfolio of clients, there are bound to be some teething problems within GT, but one would hope that they have a dedicated customer service team looking after former MD&C clients. It does not seem that they want to have representation on this forum any more, but I am happy to signpost anyone directly to the Senior Manager dealing with the new cases if this would assist.
