Did you claim the PPI yourself, or was it handled by your IP's claims company? If the latter this will be the claims company fee --- in my opinion exorbitant, but seems to be the industry standard.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi jacqui
As foggy says seems to be the norm for theae claima mgt companies.
Fair....nope esp when we do Most of the work for them.
Ive just been offered 11.4k from lombard and although it looks like it may goto ombudsman as lombard want to offset first rather than go in pot eif (who have been in my opinion and backed up by the loss of 4 sets of forms duplicate letters etc etc) totally incompetent they will look to get 30pwrcwnbt...over 3k argh when ive been bullied into uae them and not advised I could do it myself. All very very annoying. Oh and did I say eif have written to me stating they r look to accept lombard offer which is the opposite to what dfd have said cos of request to offset. Looks like the level of compentency is continuing..luckily im keep dfd informed so they can head it off.
unfortunately yes, as foggy states third party claims companies usually take about 35%, your IP will likely take their cut too, about 15% then the rest is, sorry should then be distributed amongst creditors.
Jacqui C - establish who received what. The IP cannot have taken 35% and would only receive 15% of the monies he/she receives into your IVA estate (if it is a Protocol compliant one).
Presumably the 35% is what the Cliams Management Company has taken.
Little miss trouble - are you in an IVA?
