I took out a loan and then stupidly gambled everything away. Now applying for an IVA.

hi kim.m,

Thats great news for you ) I'm now 55 days and will be 58 days clean by the time it is voted on so can prove that , I am also going to counselling of which i have had 2 sessions and 3rd booked in :) sending statements is fine with me too if that crops up :) not got any plans of going back down that route ever again... sure there will be questions asked but there is nothing i can do apart from wait and not gamble again ! :) which i'm fine on both those fronts :)

Will post back the outcome wednesday if not before as the IP called advising it could be earlier if all votes are received etc :)

here's to a very important week in my life x

well its the night before , have such a sinking feeling about this with a tint of what if , what if they say yes .. though tbh to get a 12590 loan ans default before first payment screams a no vote .. 10:55 tomorrow is the meeting so hope to update with the news not much later

thanks peeps... we are about 3-4 hours away now ... sat at work trying to keep busy and the mind focused ... I've made it 2 months waiting so 4 hours should be a breeze in comparison :)

Depending on the voting %'s they may already know the result if some creditors have already submitted proxies. Worth putting in a call to find out....
