I have some large debts around £30,000. One of my dents is property maintenance charges for my flat. they have not taken any payments for the last 3 years and have sent me a large bill for over £ 6,000, I have been trying hard to take some equity out of my flat from my excisting mortgage firm whom have rejected my request. I have now recieved a letter from my mortgage firm that I am in arrears, it appears my management firm have added what I owe them on my mortage...my mortgage company are now sending me letters about possesion litigation and I am extremely worried and unhappy. I very much need some help..Many thanks

Hi there

What justification is there for your property maintenance company to add their arrears to your mortgage account? Are they connected to your lender?

If you are also behind with the mortgage as well, do you feel it may be time to sell the property and move into cheaper rented accomodation?
