Andy agreed but I would also of expected that had their been a disparity of figures at the creditors meeting then surely the Companies concerned would of highlighted this.

Thanks Melanie. I would of assumed such checking would be normal practice, after all I would of further assumed that IP' and creditors will have liased at sometime or another during the case, and in Tanyas case it appears there has been a "costly" breakdown in communications.

Thankyou to you all for your kind replies. I am told that my dividends should not fall any lower than 36pence in the pound, without increasing my monthly payments it would fall to a 28.8pence. I have managed to make an increase which has now increased the dividends to 31.8. I am told that this is still considerably lower than the minimum and that due to this my iva may fail. I now have to wait two weeks before I am informed of what the decision is. I am worried sick

Tanya from what I have read on these boards there is no such thing as a "minimum". It is based on an "individual" case by case basis...so don't get concerned about what your paying, it's dependant on YOUR particular case, not on others.
PS: Check out what others are paying on these boards, I think you will find there are those paying less than you.

Thanks pennyless, your words are a great comfort. I just hope that you are right, it would seem that there was a great lack of communication with someone from my iva company, and unfortunately I am the one having to pay!
Hope all goes well with your own proposal, sounds like you will be fine!

Tanya thanks...I really hope I can be in your position in 3 years time.
Hopefully when you get your problem solved you will stick around Tanya....it's good for those of us just starting on the IVA route to hear of the experiences that others have gone through....both good and bad.
