I agree with TJKKB... I dont have a problem with paying it back,I have a problem with being ill advised from the start! I went through a company who I now feel did their utmost to persuade me an IVA was the right thing and possibly popped the rose coloured spectacles on![8D], then handed me over to an IP.
And as regards none of your debts being written off, I meant none are written of UNTIL the end of your IVA...the full amount effectively hovers over you till the end...then granted you are free.

Are you trying to avoid paying statutory interest? Sorry I don't remember your earlier posts specifically. If so, you will need to have good grounds for that argument if there is money available to pay. What does your IP say about this suggestion?

Hi Melanie we dealt with this earlier and I am trying to vary the Statutory interest on the grounds that we require funding for my business and to assist us in replemishing our home and financial life.

I have made an offer of about £3,000 to show some goodwill and hopefully on the 27th we will have some good news!

Regards

Hi
I think that the majority of "problems" that we get on this forum come from poor communication and understanding of the IVA between debtor and IVA provider.
Anybody contemplating an IVA should choose their provider carefully and I would suggest talking to several before deciding.
The level of service that you get once the IVA is agreed is just as important as when you are first enquiring about it and setting it up.
Finally make sure that you fully understand the ins and outs of it and get any specific answers to questions regarding your own situation in writing.
