Hi Janet,
I've asked this question before, and from what i was told, you should look at your contract of employment, but your employer would not be advised that you were in an IVA, so they wouldn't know, unless they checked the Insolvency register, which I doubt they would.

Hi janet,

Is your question relating to whether any of your creditors could have debts deducted from your salary before you are paid?

If so there could be a threat of this if you are not in an IVA. If you are in an IVA this will not happen.

Hi Janet,

You employer is not notified if you enter an IVA, the only ways your employer would know about your debts is if they look through the insolvency register, if you told them about your debt problem or if you had an attachment of earnings.

An attachment of earnings will be overwritten by the IVA was your offer has been accepted by the creditors.

Hi
I read the post that your employer is in an IVA.
If this is so then your wages will be unaffected as allowances for these would be made.
