If i decided to apply for an IVA (payplan)at what point before it is all agreed could i change my mind? Parents may be able to assist but this is not definate. Payplan said it would all take around 12 weeks to set up.

You can change your mind at any time up to the creditors meeting.

If your parents can assist, you could always do a full and final IVA and pay the lump sum across if it was acceptable.

12 weeks seem an awful long time (should not take more than 6 weeks at worst) - anyway it might suit you if your parents are going to help.
