If I have been in an IVA for nearly two years, but I am unhappy with the way it is being run, can I transfer the IVA to another debt management organisation?

Hi and welcome to the forum unfortunately it's nigh on impossible to change companies midway through your IVA by choice.

I'm sorry to read you're experiencing difficulty, have you spoken directly to your IP rather than a case worker, this may resolve some issues?

x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Agree with Lesley, are you happy to share with us the problems you have had with your company and we may be able to offer some solutions on how to resolve the issues?

Hi, I can only echo the replies given above, and repeat Lem's question.

Agree with the above. It is virtually impossible to change as it involves the court and a lot of expense.

OK cheers. I wasn't given all my options when I first made contact. I have asked on several occasions for my monthly payment to be lowered. These requests have been ignored. With no pay rise and no overtime, I am struggling to survive. I have made a complaint but was unsuccessful.

AS other posters have said it is incredibly difficult to transfer an IVA case to another IP, if you are the debtor part of the contract. Gemma Burton posts on the forum for Payplan and will be concerned to note your current difficulties. Hopefully she will suggest that you make contact with her directly to see if she can assist.

Hi Mark,

I am really sorry to read that you are unhappy with us. I would really like to help you resolve your issues with us, are you able to send me an email with your ID number and I can look into your notes and see what I can do.

We aim to provide all clients with all possible options at the beginning of the process so that the client can chose the best possible solution for their circumstances. I am shocked that this doesn't seem to have happened in this instance, if this is the case then it is extremely important that we get to the bottom of it as soon as possible.
Many Thanks
Gemma
