Hi there, I'm sorry I don't know but an interesting question.

Hopefully one of our experts will confirm.

I'm guessing if you stop paying your IVA it will take the creditors a while to be informed so in that time they shouldn't contact you but I'll be interested to hear the views of an expert. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

You are bound by the terms of the IVA until a Certificate of Termination has been issued.

is this still the case, our IVA is failing and churchwood said that kingsgate would have to send the termination certificate to us first before we could be declared bankrupt. However when i rang debtadvice line up they said no not anymore, the changes came in to place at the beginning of the yr. Therfore you can declare yourself bankrupt without that certficate?

Hi,

Have a chat with your local court. Some are quite happy to go ahead without a termination letter.
