My mother would never have opened my mail, and she has no idea of the problems we have had. We do talk of money, and if debt is mentioned, then they say they don't know how people can get like that and they couldn't sleep at night if they were in debt like that.

They think that we are doing well with our own house, I have a good job and we have a car.

Who am I to disillusion them?

Lol! Exactly the same Jan. I do feel like just blurting it out sometimes though. Apart from there initial reaction, I think they would want to help. They have worked so hard for there money though I know I couldn't take. I'd probably have less sleep over that!

The first is very inspirational though. Although future is good was prepared for a long process, it's all over for him in less than 12 months. Wonderful and Happy Christmas to him x
The future's bright, the future's debt free. In 72 months to be exact!

Mine couldn't help. Council house tenants, state pension and no savings.

My parents dont know about our IVA either. They know we struggle as they help us out a lot by buying different things etc. I have had the urge to tell them recently, but I think we will wait until we have finished paying now.
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

Ours don't even know that we struggle. They still think that everything in the garden is rosy. Even the fact that we don't go on holiday every year is put down to either mine or hubby's health.

I hope they never rumble it.
