Michael Peoples is simply the best Insolvency Manager I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He is well deserving of your praise, Paul.

Many thanks for the comments. I really enjoy this site and as Melanie says it only costs time. This industry takes a lot of flak and very little is justified. Like Melanie's firm the bulk of enquiries to us do not lead to IVAs but it is important to give all clients the correct advice and like the other firms on here we give plenty of free advice on matters such as bankruptcy.

No one wants to push clients into IVAs as they will not run their course and could ultimately lead to problems with the regulators at a later stage. It is not just the percentage of calls to IVAs or the percentage of IVAs approved that is important but also the percentage of IVAs that are closed down successfully by running their course or a full and final. IVAs do fail due to circumstances beyond anyone's control but as an industry it is best if failures are kept to a minimum.

By the way Jan, I would love to go to a Frugal Friends meeting so put me on the invite list.

recieved reply to my email

I am in receipt of your email regarding the additional income request. I have based this on the information on your file which states that your normal take home pay is ****** per month.(my wife earned this money)
It is a one off request which is made should you receive additional income and 50% is requested. Your annual review is due in October but should you feel that there have been major changes in your income and expenditure please advise us, so that we can send out a new form. The additional income requests form part of your proposals and cannot be altered.

i thought a cut in tax credits loss of child benefit and a drop in earnings were major changes looks like i will have to advise yet again and fill in a new i&e form .

I would have thought that as well!

You do need to advise them again and fill a new form in. Perhaps if you nag them enough it might sink in.
