So far I've failed at Weight Watchers, Slimming World and Slimfast. The only one left seems to be Rosemary Conley - has anyone tried her diet?

I've tried them all skippy including Rosemary Conley. I found the RC classes expensive and the exercise bit used to bore me. By the time you started sweating [:I] it was over, so not much use. I did have the free portion pots and I still use them..

I still buy the slimming world magazines to try and find some inspiration....my inspiration is playing hard to find though [:D]

Thanks for that Julie. My motivation has gone completely. I've signed up to do the Race for Life in June so I need to lose weight to train for that - running with all this extra weight won't do my already bad knee any good at all!

My cousin and I are doing it in memory of our dads who both died from cancer. I've done it a few times in the past, but I've always walked...

Ah!!Skip, that's a really lovely thing to do...I have thought of doing it in the past in memory of my dad who died of cancer too,..need to get fit first though.[:(]..good luck anyway Skip..xx[:)]

Well,..I must start the diet,we have one of the Directors visiting our office next week so we have to wear a suit to impress...I've just tried on a couple that i haven't worn in ages and they are both very tight[:I]..how can I lose weight in 4 days?..not eat I suppose[:(]..I think i will just have to be very very strict with myself in the hope that my trousers don't rip when I sit down[:I] or will have to add this one to the embarrasing moments thread[:D]..

Good luck with that DM - there's nothing worse than worrying about tight trousers! My favourite ones are consigned to the back of the wardrobe at the moment as I don't feel confident sitting down in them in case they split!

Must be something in the air. Even i have put weight on. I am now just over 9st which is great considering i was only 7st 12 at my lowest.
Lets hope it doesnt keep creeping up now. I'm actually happy with my weight for the first time in years.

Mrs S, glad you are at a nice weight now.

DM I shall be looking at the embarrasing moments thread to see if you have posted on it again!
