Well I have my first half marathon in 6 weeks and it appears the extra pounds are slowing me down, so on sunday I embark on a 14 day detox. I am doing Madal Bal, the first 4 days will be hell, but after that I should feel fantastic[:p]
I'll probably shed about 22lbs in those two weeks[:0]
96% of Madal Bal users DID NOT regain the weight, thats what impressed me. It cost £79.99 so we shall have to see!

I've just googled it and it appears to be a detox regime.

Sorry, should have said!
Its also known as the lemon detox diet. Really it is viewed as a life changing detox and the weight is just a side effect!
Took me a while to decide upon it. Read the book first, liked what I read, did some more research and now sunday is the big day![:0]

I am getting right on to that! Going skiing in three weeks time and 22lbs lost would be ideal!

I got mine from a site called the healing pond. Free postage plus it included the book, tea-bags and pepper!

Rather you than me! Doesn't appeal to me in the slightest!

Sorry, I don't rate detox diets at all. Anyone can lose weight if they are living on fruit and water, but once you start to eat 'normal' food again the weight will go back on.

The only sensible way to lose weight is to eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise more. It's a shame I can't practice what I preach!

Its a syrup mixture with organic lemons and pepper or ginger. At night you take a chinese laxative tea and in the morning a litre of salt water!!!! No other food, then on days 15,16,17 you just have smoothies and broth.
Gonna be hard, so I'll keep you updated!
