Hi,

Thank you for your post. Yes, it is actually my supervisors email because he actually replied to one of his colleagues and emailed me by mistake! I've never had a response from letters, emails or phone calls from my supervisor (Paul George.) I'm getting really frustrated and I've been writing and emailing hime for over 4 months!! The only letter I had this December was one that said @Notice of Breach!' I've been paying my agreed limit until my house sells. I'm not sure what to do now other than see my mother's solicitor.

4 months WOW Thats a long time to be waiting for a response.
Maybe as Melanie suggests, you should make a formal complaint. Thats such a long time. Understandably they are probably very busy but theres no excuse for ignoring people.

Just a thought but maybe if you email him and telling him you are seeking advice to make a formal complaint, it may just give him the push he needs to respond.

Thank you for your advice. I will try that if I don't hear anything by Monday. I am, to say the least, very disappointed by their service.

Thanks again.

There is no excuse for insolvency practitioners not corresponding with their clients, so you must now do what you feel is most appropriate. I imagine that Debt Free Direct do have a formal complaints procedure that you can follow, if you feel that this is the most appropriate route.

Hi Melanie,

Thank you. I shall look in to the complaints department if there is one. I will see what tomorrow brings, as I have still not heard anything back.

I'm not quite sure what my options are.

Hi Melanie,

I have not heard anything back from DFD despite the fact they received my letter 6 days ago and four emails to my supervisor, the supervisory department and another contact in the supervisory team. I looked for a complaints contact but can't seem to find it. Is the a specific department for this? Please advise, thank you

I suggest that you ring them and ask for the name of their Complaints Officer. Failing that, you will have to refer any complaint to the IP's regulatory body.

[HI Andy,

Well, I still have not had a repsonse to my emails sent to my IP and various people within the supervisory team at DFD. I also have not had a reply to my recorded delivery letter sent 6 days ago!I know they have received it, as I have checked the delivery status.

I ow have a large envelope with all of the letters and emails I have sent to my IP from July to now ready to post recorded tdelivery tomorrow to the Complaints Officer at DFD. I can't believe this!

I thought an offer would have been propsed now and the creditors could have sorted this.

If my house sells I can offer them around 35p to the £1.00 and originally it was 33p to the £1.00.Do you think this is a reasonable offer? In your last post, you mentioned that creditors could possibly wait a year with the house on the market (I'm still paying the token £10.00 pm) or could my mother re-mortgage for me?

Thanks agian.

If your mother wanted to re-mortgage her property to provide you with money to offer a full and final settlement, I am sure that that would be equally acceptable to creditors.

Hi flozza,

Your mother might potentially be able act as a guarantor for your remortgage if you retain ownership.

This has serious implications for her as you can imagine and much careful thought would need to go into whether this would be an appropriate way forwards.

HI Andrew,

Thank you or your reply. Yes, I agree, I really wouldn't wantmy mother to re-mortgage for me I would rather sell my property and release the equity for my creditors - if my IP ever gets back to me! I'm right in thinking that I couldn't re-mortgage due to my current situation.

Thanks.

Hello flozza,

Any responsible mortgage lender would need to know that you could afford your mortgage payments. If you are unable to work at this time that obviously presents difficulties.

Hi Mrs Skint,

I just wanted to say thank you very much for the email contact at DFD. I sent an email yesterday and am hoping to hear something. I can't beleive they are not responding. I posted a letter recorded delivery yesterday to the complaints officer containing copies of emails and letters to my supervisor.

Thanks again!
