Probably because they aren't as popular as the High Street banks. Try searching on this site.

The Secure Trust Bank is a very good option for anyone who cannot get an account with a clearing bank for no monthly charges. If feel that the days of free banking generally are numbered, which is when accounts like this will really come into their own. Secure Trust are owned by Arbuthnot Latham, who are probably one of the strongest private banks in the UK - so much so that I have all of my business banking and client accounts with them. Therefore they come highly recommended!

Many thanks

I don’t mind about monthly charges all banks will be doing that shortly anyway

I just want a bank where I don’t have to ‘worry’ my paid in cheques wont clear or my cash card wont work or I have to hang on for 40 minutes on a premium rate line.

I agree, we recommend the Secure Trust Bank to people if they are struggling to open an account.
