Thanks Melanie- i am sickened by such vulnerable being targeted. You say I am in the best place with abacus? Better than IVA? I felt it may be as i need cheques often and at various times in year need to make big professional fees.
I cannot really comment about whether I feel you are better off in a DMP rather than an IVA - but as you seem to think so, I would completely applaud your decision.
Please let David help you with recovering your money. He really has sharp teeth and claws when he is annoyed - and trust me he will be seething in his holiday home right now, just as I am sitting seething in my office at home.
Melanie you work so hard you are always online! Its excellent. I work in a simialr 24/7 job. Rarely I ask for help in my life. I ask for financial help and in 2 weeks have lost 1000 via churchwood and this horrific company tgl loans which seems to be well known to be a con artist yet allowed to practice? If you read all the people they have harmed- and they are connected to money supermarket which i thought was a trustworthy company.
BTW THey sent me text messages telling me i needed to urgently phone them for this "URGENT OFFER" I left a client to phone for this urgent call- its a disgrace.
Don't worry David will sort this out for you. He will have contacts in the industry to help him get to the bottom of this scam, and I don't think you could have picked a better chap to fight your corner.
David loves a challenge, and hates consumers being ripped off - were you aware that he took a legal action out against a scam company last year, won the case and got awarded £250,000 for his pleasure. See his website for further details. He will sort this out for you I am sure.
WintheRace - I will also look into the Churchwood thing as well for you. So don't worry.

I am amazed at the sharks out there. As I said before one company took 500 out of my bank account but luckily i phoned hsbc and they refunded it straight away. Another compmay had a premium rate phone line 2.00 a minute to find you a loan and no guarantee they will.
Abascus have always answered promptly and i feel safe with them I'm with them.

Good news- I managed to reverse the payment that TLG loans took from my account. I phoned the HSBC who were actually very helpful and reversed the payment. Thye are investigating.
What a disgusting company TLG loans. There is a whole forum if you yahoo search on vulnerable customers they have conned. All they do is search for a loan provider for you and within hours of speaking to me he took £500 from my account. Of course I would never have accepted this so this is fraud.
Somebody needs to act to close this company. If its legal then im setting up a similar business- finding a loan on line that matches someones criteria then charging them 500 for the privledge. They have had there phones not answering all day suprise suprise.
They sound like a terrible company and I am so glad that you are not out of pocket.
It's good that you have brought this company to our attention so that at least if anyone else asks we will know how to advise.
I looked at the websites about them - disgusting!
Unfortunately, there are a lot of very vulnerable and desperate people who will believe the claims that are made.

I am really upset and it has been a lesson about the world we live in and humanity.
Today I have had over 50 phone calls to my mobile about debt options after only making 2 online applications. My data is clearly everywhere- goodness knows who has it so i have changed my bank card- and I will have to change my mobile.
TLG loans were appauling- they said they had found me a perfect consolidtaion loan at 8%apr and there maybe a fee. within hours they debited 500 from my account but i phoned HSBC fraud and got it back thanks goodness. I spent 8 hours trying to contact tlg loans and guess what- NO response. I phoned the loan supermarket who recommended this compmay who said there were no managers around in the office but one would phone me back today. No call back of course.
Then I had another call asking me to phone a premium rate number. This was for my own protection as it was an encripted safe number for giving my details!!!!!!!
Whats going on here?
Where are the controls?
How many vulnerable desperate people are being fleeced every day.
I can breathe a sigh if relief now I am with abacus and I can see David Monde is transparent enough to show himself on here and act in his customers interests ethically.
How awful that your details should be passed on in this way!
I'm pretty sure that the companies used on here don't do that.
I'm just glad that you managed to sort the payment from that dreadful loan company.
