I settled my IVA earlier this year. I no longer appear on the Insolvency Register! However I have just signed up to Noddle to view my credit score and there are two inaccuracies on there.

One is Natwest Credit Card showing as Default which obviously was satisfied when IVA settled. The other is an active CCJ - should this also be settled?

My IVA is also viewable on the report - is this because I settled early via a F&F . The status is completed as of 21/04/2015. Will it ever disappear?

Please help. I really want to move forward with my life.

Hi,

Your IVA will be on your record for the full six years from the date of original acceptance regardless of whether or not you finished early.

As regards your credit record for creditors, you need to check with all credit agencies and any defaults registered after the date of acceptance need to be removed.

You will need to send a copy of your completion letter to the data controllers to those creditors and tell them to remove those defaults.

Thank you for the info! And so I wait until 23/12/2016 for the IVA to be lifted from my credit file.
