Who do I contact to find out information about someone who owes me money and has included the debt in an IVA without notifying me.Can I get a copy of the proposal and details of declared debts and income. The Iva is over 18 months old now and I have not received a penny.Do I need to contact the court in the first instance and what information will I need to get a copy.I see that having 25% of the debt is important but as I was never notified and did not know anything about a creditors meeting I have no idea of the percentage or of any proposals please have a bit of sympathy for the people that are owed money too.It must be wonderful to borrow loads, blow it and then plead broke.I have four kids and need the money that I am owed,it is actually a court order for court costs which I have had to pay my solicitor allready and is tto the tune of over 10000 pounds,a lot of money for a hardworking family thank you

Yes you can find out which IP is acting by doing a search on the Insolvency Register which is available on line at www.insolvency.gov.uk. You can then contact the IP concerned to find out why you were not notified of the IVA, and given the opportunity to vote. How much are you actually owed, and how much do you feel the person owes in total? If your debt is more than 25% you could argue that the debt was falsely presented.

If you e-mail me the persons name to my website, I can find out this information for you.
