Hi,
Well the moment I have been dreading has arrived, I've received my first I&E form to complete (we are with McCambridge Duffy).
I have had no problems (we did reduce one month for car repairs and we pay extra each month).
I am just concerned about how to fill it in - it has boxes to show As per IVA, and then I complete the Current....but my husband is self emploeyd so it is hard to put down a monthly wage as it can vary and has varied throughout the year....I am worried they will think we have earned alot more...even though we showed them payslips last year and they have not increased.
Shall I put a forewarding letter with it, saying about certain things like this....and like my gas was high last year, but I have just dropped it.
Also our motgage went down this month, so I guess they will want that....but then my husband is having an op in Feb, so won't get paid...will they let us keep the difference?
Sorry for all these questions - maybe I should ring them??!
k.

Michael Peoples from McCambridge Duffy posts on here regularly, if he sees this, he should be able to advise you. He's been on today, so I'm sure he'll be back!

I've actually just phoned them!
They said they would take the years pay slips into consideration as my husbands wage can fluctuate.
She also said we would probably keep the difference in mortgage due to other expenses.......we shall see.
I did advise about the op and they said to let them know when we send it all back.

I am sure that they will want to see your husband's business accounts by way of verification of his income, but hopefully Michael Peoples will be around shortly to answer as he works for that company.

Hi Kal. Glad you phoned and seems all is well. We will want to see a copy of your husband's latest accounts when they are ready which will be used in conjunction with your own wage slips.

The I&E from the IVA is a guide to what was allowable at the time and of course inflation has meant that these figures will almost all have to be increased accordingly. Even if your mortgage has gone down the savings will likely be almost wiped out by utility and housekeeping increases.

As you have not missed any payments we can authorise a short payment break when your husband is in hospital and will only need creditor consent if he needs longer to recuperate. The IVA term can be extended by an equivalent number of months to make up the arrears or subsequent payments can be increased to wipe out the arrears before the IVA is completed. This depends on yourselves and affordability.

Hope hubby gets well quickly and any problems at all give us a call or contact me directly. Admin can give you my details if required.

Thanks Michael - I will get everything together and send it off as soon as I can.
I want to avoid a payment break if I can......just see if I can shove my husband back to work early...LOL!
