It is often possible to have an allowance for smoking in an IVA, but for your own health and financial benefit I would try and see if you could cut down the expenditure on that particular area.

I doubt most IPs would be sympathetic to make allowance for smoking. I'm sur ethe majority will not.

School bus fair should be included under monthly travel expenses.

It's not the IP's place to say yes or no - that is the right of the creditors.

I can only echo what Melanie has just said, no-one wants your IVA to fail so if smoking etc is part of your monthly I&E you should include it and the rest is up to your creditors.

Hi,
I don't think you get any allowance for smoking (I know I certainly don't!!). I'm trying to stop, which I hope will get easier when stress levels go down - you can get free patces, inhalers, tablets to help and support you from your GP and the NHS in general. At the moment my OH (He met me after I started my IVA) buys me some or I go without food items to cover the cost!!
Bus fares should be coered I would have thought - as said before in the monthly travel with a note to explain what the costs are for.
I hope you get a good result with the new list,
Good luck,
Chardonnay
