Each year during an IVA one is required to submit an account of income and expenditure.

In the event that in one year there is insufficient income earned to make up the IVA payment contributions which fall due, I wonder if there might be any issues for a person to receive help from friends/ family?

Hi Mark,

Your I&E should reflect what you spend and you shouldn't have a shortfall. If you have problems then you should contact your IP.

If someone can help you out with a shortfall then that will be fine as long as it's not a loan.
