Hi everyone
Ive been watching this site for some months now but finally got the courage up to join in, and hopefully help others as have had a bit of a nitemare. First IVA refused second accepted yesterday!! thank goodness as had no idea what to do if another failed. I do have one question hope someone can help. Now I have an IVA accepted what does it mean by at the end of the term the creditors have 25 days? ( i think) to make a claim. does this mean they make a claim to get more money therefore my debt isn`t written of ( so to speak ) and they want more???

I have never heard of such a strange provision before. Surely it is not going to take your IP five years to find out whether a creditor is going to claim or not, and how can they pay dividends in the meantime?

Hi Melanie,

Sorry

It is more than likley my putting the question incorrectly, the 25 days at the end of an IVA agreement is from bits and pieces I`ve read through this site and as had no knowledge was curious as to the meaning, sorry if have confused you, was just wondering how the process all ends?

Hi petes39

Thats great that your iva has been accepted, I bet that is such a relief after facing a rejection the first time around.

Any questions, however small, just pick up the phone and your IP will be able to clear it up instantly and you can put it our of your mind.

You are now on the road to being debt free
Good luck[:)]
