Can anyone recommend an insolvency expert for me to ring and chat with. I think I probably do need a 2nd or 3rd opinion! I'm not sure who is an IVA provider and who isn't. I have rang the 0800 number above and the adviser recommended BR although he admitted he was an IVA specialist so I'm a little confused as to who I actually need to speak with.

Any help gratefully and desperately received!

Hi vad
I would give Melanie's office or Ian for another opinion and see what they say. Contacts will be either under their posts or on the experts page. Reviews you can look at on iva.com.

I didn't know about this site before my IVA, I wish I had as there were a few things I would have changed. My company is good but if i had my chance again I would choose one of the experts on this site. Please do a bit of research as mentioned and see their ratings.(feedback)

Give Melanie a call ... I know he isn't an Insolvency Practioner (well I don't think so, apologies if so) ... but Paul (Reviva) also gives some very good, down to earth advice and always tells it as it is ... although he would probabaly refer you to Melanie ... but from my experience insolvency practioners in terms of IVAs have to be 'neutral' ... even sometimes veering towards the side of the creditors (so as to maintain good relationships ... sorry if I speak out of turn here folks) whereas someone like Paul can look at all the options for you initially and would be more on your side to begin with ... that's my experience anyway.

Thanks all. I rang Melanie's office this morning as suggested and I'm awaiting a call back.
