I would be worried as well if it was me Viki.

Perhaps, as Skippy says, you would be able to do something about it?

Oh Crikey,
The Google thing scares me - you wouldn't publicise your financial position to the world given the choice. Don't we have any privacy rights? I would have thought that breaks the Human Rights thing - everyone else is using it to protect themselves, can't we???

Yeah, the google thing scares me, I didn't know that the Insolvency register would come up if someone was to just google your name. I thought that you would have to actually access the register first and put in all the details.

I think it depends on how many people share your name. Mine is the only one on the register, but loads come up on google and mine isn't one of them. Even when I typed in IVA after it.

Same for hubbie as well.

oh no I didn't know about the google bit!! I have just tried my name and nothing shows up yet after tying a few pages thank God. Anyway I am known by by middle name which helps.

It is very unlikely that a Google search would find your name, unless you have a very unusal surname.
