hi there,i wonder if anyone could help with this.up until now the thought of bein on the register wasn't one of my main concerns as i figured that people for one, wouldnt know it even exists and 2ndly, wouldnt be sat wastin their time tryin to find people who were insolvent.however i didnt for 1 minute think about someone just googlin your name for the fun of it.if this was to happen would it display your name & then say 'insolvency register' ? also does it give details of all ur previous address's ? Hey tori, I think it only comes up if you have a really unusual, rare surname. I know someone on here has had there name come up but the majority have tried it and nothing has come up. Pretty rubbish though eh? Don't forget to sign Andy's petition. X

So what if they do - there are far worse things to have them say like """ ooh guess what you smell """ [:o)]
Just started my IVA as from 12.10.07

I understand all your concerns, and I cannot allay your fears that anyone with malice aforethought may, if they really want to, see things that are public knowledge.

However, you sometimes have to take a step back and say that if anyone you know were to challenge you, then like as not, it would not be an accident.

As an experiment, today I googled my real name, (which isn't a secret, I just like my nickname) and also googled my forum name.

Very disappointingly, I was nowhere to be seen, in any form, before page 10. D'oh!!!

Had I have been on the Insolvency Register, (and there are 5 people on there with my name) I could have been traced by a vindictive spouse or relative/anyone.

If anyone were to challenge me with such info then I would perhaps be a little on the blunt side!!!

Not too sure of my latin but "NIL CARBORUNDUM ILLIGITAMUS" works for me.

Regards.

Fourteen pages in on Google and I am nowhere to be seen, so good luck to anyone who wants to sit and trawl through trying to find me!

Hi size ... just googled my full name ... and even though I knew I was on there I was shocked to see 3 pages on me lol ... however ... no mention of my IVA, unless I missed it. Weird or what[:D][:D][:D]

Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile
