Instant McD's!

Tried this and it pleased my 5 and 4 year old. When you go to the above well known fast food store keep the happy meal boxes. From Adsa big bag of frozen American fries (which I deep fry to get them crispy) and a big bag of chicken nuggets from a well known frozen food store (the circular ones like Md's) From Wilkinsons little paper bags and a bunch of little toy cars ,little dolls priced at 49p. Cook the lot (not the toys)pop them in the little paper bags add a wee toy pop the lot in the branded boxes and hey presto an instant McD's!! Fools my little ones [:)] They are baffled how I manage to get out and back to McD's without them seeing!

Dear all,

Has any one tried using a tea bag twice?If you use good brand you can use it twice.second time,after dipping in hot water hold the tea bag between two tea spoons and squeeze to get a better taste.

Good luck to those who heed to my advice.

I have to say I have never used a teabag twice... but we have started using a teapot again (instead of one teabag per cup its one teabag a pot=2 cups of tea

No point us having a teapot - I only drink peppermint tea and Dave drinks normal tea. I'm afraid I can't bring myself to recycle teabags!

My mum says that tea tastes better from a pot but I always put the teabag in the mug. Last Christmas I made her tea in the mug but left the teapot on the side and she said what a lovely cup of tea it was! I never did tell her!

Hey Skippy maybe your mum thought your tea was rubbish but was being polite [:D] In my old Glasgow days my mum used to 'stew' the tea (pour it into a teapot then on the stove for 5 minutes)

Dave's mum does that - she even managed it when she made me a peppermint tea - I've never had one so strong!

i love tea stewed like that. - i leave my teabag in with the milk and water till it nice and dark

my missus however shows the teabag to the water then puls it away without geting it wet.

One of my luxuries are yorkshire gold t.bags,bit more expensive than most but i love strong tea,and i don't mean stewed,i am a bit of a tea junkie.I don't mind cutting back on other bits on my shopping list,but i do love a good brew,infact i'm going to make a cupa.

Great idea but I don't drink tea or coffee - perhaps I could use hubbies used tea bags for the bags under my eyes instead???!!!

when i lived at me parents a fair few years ago, then always had ringtons delivered.

now thats a proper brew.
