Hi,

Just before Christmas i new i had reached crisis point in my financial affairs when i put my HSBC cash card in the machine in the middle of the month and it said those dreaded words INSUFFICIENT FUNDS!!!!.Nil Balance.
My account was always in - drawn, now after my IVA and nearly 2 payments in , it is so nice when i use my Co-Op Card and it is now always + credit.
I am so glad i went for an IVA and is now teaching me to Budget Properly and live within my means.
Never again would i want to live on a constant overdraft and credit again, it is not my money it was the banks money.
All the money i wasted on Bank Charges and Crippling Interest was NO WAY TO LIVE!!!
Does anybody feel the same as me

I feel exactly the same and only about to make my 2nd payment this week. I feel relieved that creditor pressure is lifting and know in the next few weeks it should stop. Don't dread the phone anymore, this past few months alone has been such a learning curve for me that I know I will never put myself in this position again. So pleased to read you are feeling so positive, long may this feeling last! I only wish I could let up a little as I'm obsessed with spreadsheets the forum and money in general. I know where every penny is spent and always balance my spreadsheet to my bank account, several times a day even though I know it hasn't changed! Hopefully I'll relax a little soon but never enough to be careless again.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
