Yes Steve I did finally get a call & here's hoping something can be sorted out. Apparently my fuel receipts weren't being scanned onto the FJ system, therefore not being taken into account when any allowances were being made. I've emailed them directly to your colleague along with a breakdown of my Dartford crossing charges, they don't give VAT receipts so I think that part will have to be taken on trust. Now it's just a waiting game to see if I get satisfactory outcome. But anyway thanks for your time & effort.

Thanks everyone for the interest, suggestions & support. This is now sorted, after emailing copies of my petrol receipts directly to my "relationship manager", they agreed that it would be in every-ones interests if my travel allowance was increased and my monthly payment should be kept at the previous amount. Now entering year two with renewed confidence & hope.

Hiya,

I have been following this with interest.

My husband and I have an allowance for fuel costs each month, and we are coming up for our firt review in a couple of months time.

I travel on average anywhere between 1600-2000 miles per month, and I get expenses pai from my work which I have already paid out for the mileage, teaching materials, parking, trains etc, and I was told during the proposal stage that the expenses were excluded, but reding this has concerned me a bit!

Unfortunately, my expenses are pai with my monthly salary, but are itemised on my payslips.

I will have to wait to see what happens I think !

I think that what everyone needs to remember is that lots of these iP firms exist only because we got ourselves into financial trouble. That's not you Mel - you go out of your way to give advice, but lots of firms do. I sometimes think of the majority of the world standing in something like wembley stadium and then on the terraces you have everyone from credit cards - mbna, Barclaycard etc to hmrc to so me unscrupulous debt firms all making money on the back of our stupidity, easy to say as we have been fortunate enough finish our iva but for all of you still in the process, there is always someone who exists because of your decisions so although you had credit, you weren't totally to blame. Please remember that.
