hi all, i believe this is my first ever post on pets corner. Anyway, i'm writing to mention that i had my usual yearly renewal notice from my dogs insurer namely tesco. No he's a nearly 5 year old golden retriever. When i took out the insurance for him around 2 years ago i paid £17 per month, my renewal is now quoting an amazing £29 per month!!! With only 4k for vets fees. So not having any of that I went onto a compare site and found a lifetime quote with the same level of cover but with 20k for vets fees. for £17 per month. It is unreal to think they get away with it. [:(!]

So glad you found alternative insurance for your doggy, hope you don't have to use it. A fine example that loyalty doesn't count these days and I think new customers always get the best deals. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm glad you got a better deal. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the same insurer as Harry has been to the vet a couple of times and, even though I've never claimed, a new insurer wouldn't cover his leg or tummy.

We didn't insure my cat one year and he ad to have his leg amputated. £1300 and he was back hopping around wit the family. Wouldn't have changed him for the world (but animals are always insured from now on)
