Well its all official now. feel like a big weight is lifted but feel bad that its come to this.

Anyway it was a breeze but did feel a bit clinical so to speak.

So can we get onto the OR questions now please lol. spoke briefly to a member of the team and seemed painless but maybe its good cop bad cop?

hoping for a telephone interview as the wife is due to give birth of Thursday :D

Hi Navydog,

Glad it went ok for you.

I don't think you will have a problem with the OR and it may be a while before you get the actual interview so I think you will be there for your wife!

I hope the birth goes ok, let us know all the details once it has happened.

We loved babies on here!

Congratulations Navydog on starting over. The OR will be painless enough which is more than can be said for your wife and Thursday!!!
Very best of luck on the impending birth.

Glad that went well and is over and done with.

The OR interview will just go through your income & expenditure - it takes about 45 mins. The important thing is to have all your paperwork in front of you, ready for the call. We had a lot of our allowances increased, so they really are there to help you. With us, they could tell us at the end of the call how much the monthly payments were, £150 for 36 months. This depends on your disposable income and some people don't have to pay anything.

It takes a while to get everything in place though, hubby went BR beginning of Feb and first monthly payment was made end of May.

Hope all goes well with the birth and little one doesn't keep you hanging around for long [:D] keep us updated xx

The income payments order/arrangement will last for 36 months but the bankruptcy should only be for a maximum of 12 months unless there are reasons to extend it.

Having a new little addition to the family is so much more important than worrying about bankruptcy hearings and meetings with the OR!! Best of luck to both of you for that, and be sure to tell us how everything goes - especially on the baby front!
