They had around 15% of my total debt of around 70K and did not even vote. Shows how times have changed I guess.

I wish you luck in getting it all sorted out.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

They perhaps dont vote where they havent got much say.
How anyone would want to make someone BR rather than get something more back through an IVA is beyond me.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

It's a proposed new type of IVA where only a 50% majority vote is required and they are designed for simpler voluntary arrangements - cutting out the need for annual review or reporting.

Sambam, that is terrible. Do you know why they adjourned it again? You must have built yourselves up and now you are back in limbo again.

I have everything crossed that it will sorted positively next week

What awful news for you. Its bad enough waiting for a decision first time round but again and again is sooooo unfair.

Lets hope next time will be good news and you can move on xxxxxxx

Hi Guys, this is really starting to worry me, as one of my largest personal creditors is MBNA, so doesn't really sound promising does it? Oh well, will just have to wait and see. Kazzy x

Hi Sambam,[:)]

You're really having a bad time of it so far but lets hope everythings sorted next week for you and that it's Good News. (you deserve it)

I'm getting worried as MBNA are one of our creditors too, along with Northern Rock and Nationwide ( Who have been the most difficult so far, constantly calling even when I've explained to them)

Fingers crossed for you.

xx

Hi Sambam, just wanted to say i'm thinking of you. I know how i felt in the run up to my meeting so you must be feeling really awful and stressed now. I have everything crossed for you that it will go ok.

Sambam, try and stay positive. If you're putting your best proposal forward, hopefully they will see sense and vote yes. Its sounds like they would be better off accepting your IVA because compared to BR its their best option. My partner and I had our IVA accepted on Monday. I owed £5k, my partner £4. They voted yes for me (via Max Recovery) and didn't vote in my partner's. Our biggest hurdle was Northern Rock who voted yes.
I hope you get the result next week, good luck x

It was adjourned again because MBNA are still rejecting the IVA proposal.
