Hi,

I've been trying to contact my IP to find that my IVA has been tranfserred to another IP...is this normal? My old IP was great and so was his support. I use to get things dealt with in a day or so by email, but now nothing for about 5 days.

I'm trying to find out what my settlement figure is, but the new IP isn't responding...anything I can do? Most of my debt is now with Max Recovery so should I try to contact them to make an offer of full and final settlement.

Thanks.

Aaron

Ps. My new IP is debt help uk...anyone had problems with them in the past. I know it's early days yet and i'm sure i#'ll get a response soon though. Thanks

This may have happened if your old IP has left the firm or retired. What has happened to your circumstnaces to enable you to be able to make a full and final offer now?

Sorry Aaron I don't remember every single post - got a memory like a sieve!!

If your Mum's offer is designed to pay the original dividend pledged, then I am sure it will be welcomed by creditors - when you eventually get to talk to your new IP. Any ideas why the last one left?

Hi Aaron,

Do you know whether Debt Help UK are a new organisation?

We don't have any reviews for them as yet but would be grateful if there is anyone out there who would post some.

Kind regards,

Hi,

I didn't think debt help UK were new...but maybe they are. I managed to speak to someone today and they were very helpful, though just waiting for the figures.

Gordon thanks for your message...luckily debt help uk are in the same offices as my previous IP...I actually think they must have bought the IP company I initially used, which was Mackenzie Goldberg Johnson, who I thought were very helpful, condsiderate and easy to work with.

I have one more question...If a f&f can be made and my IVA is completed how long will this show on the DTI register for after competion?

Thanks

Still for six years from the date your IVA was originally accepted by creditors.
