I have recently proposed and IVA through Freeman Jones the first creditor meeting was held two days ago and was rejected. The creditors that rejected where MBNA who is owe £3500 approx to and Northerm Rock who i owe £7000. My two others creditors Lloyds TSB who i owe £11000 approx to and Lombard who i owe £17000 to both agreed outright to it.

MY IP has said she will repropose my IVA for the end of the month during which time she will try and get MBNA to sell my debt!! Is this usual practice? she mentioned a company called Max Recovery who MBNA generally sell there debts to and stated that they are likely to accept the IVA (the proposal is paying back 40p in the £).

What are the likely chances of this happening? and if it is rejected again what can i do then?

Thanks for your help

Claire
