I received a new income and expenditure questionair from the OR this morning. As we are waiting for a moving date (hopefully within the next 4 weeks) she has agreed to wait until we have moved for me to return it, but if that is longer than 4 weeks I will have to contact her again.

I could really do without them asking for any more money, but I'm not sure the bills will increase enough for me to claim much more. I've been told that for a rise of £60 the OR rarely contacts you - I'm getting fed up with being the exception to the rule! I applied for a savings account with the Co-op and when they declined me due to failing a credit check (oh what a surprise!) I rang them and was told they rarely credit check for a savings account but I had been selected!

I do have a question, I'm not just rambling! When I complete the form, when I come to the figures that haven't changed (clothing allowance etc) do I just use what the OR allowed me as this was a bit lower than I claimed?

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Hi Skippy13

Have you tried a Credit Union? I have not know of any refusing a savings account.
Try this site to see if you have a CU near to you.

Thanks Lenalena, I've had a look at the website but sadly there isn't a credit union near me.

Not all CU are with Abcul so try a search on google.
CU in 'your town' that might turn up some.
or this site might to.

Despite the fact the OR said I could wait a month to complete the IPOQ I have done it this morning and sent it off with a letter explaining that I will be moving, and therefore things might change in the future. The only things I could honestly increase were my car tax, dentist and opticians allowance, but I didn't claim for monthly prescriptions so the opticians cancelled that out.

I did try for the £50 contingency that they disallowed last time Melanie, so I'll let you know what happens about that!

My main worry is that they will disallow things they allowed last time and leave me worse off, but I'll have to wait and see. I have heard that they don't always contact you if they aren't planning on changing the IPA so fingers crossed!!!

Skippy,

Since 29th March - 7 months and 4 days until automatic discharge, not that I'm counting!

Could be that they are preparing for early discharge, they would have to get the creditors agreement but they can discharge you after 6 months !

Good luck

Sadly I don't think so! I got a pay rise in May and it has just come to light that Clarke Willmott didn't inform the OR, even though I wrote to them straight away.

I'm not expecting ED - my OR's office is one of the busiest in the country apparently. With my luck I'm more likely to get a BRU!

My outlook on life has always been the glass is half empty - then when someone fills it for you it's a bonus!

Sorry to hear you've run out of whiskey - not too long until payday I hope!

Payday is Tuesday.. arrrgh !

The Co-op closed my basic acurrent account and I have applied for a Cashminder.. that was over a week ago.

In the meantime all my d/d's have been cancelled and aim getting bombarded by insurance compnies. NR etc about how next month is going to be paid.

Coop say they will give me a cashminder and will transfer the d/d's to the cashminder account .

Topped off by the school holidays - money has drained away so Im skint .. again..

Im seriousely considering asking sproglettes mum to start making some sort of maintainence payments - she mad no contributions during the last 8 years - methinks that if the boot was on the other foot that she would have had me paying from day one.

Trouble is if she does start paying, Im pretty sure that she wont, that the OR will make me pay more IPA .. which is kind of self defeating.

I dont feel that Im winning to-day -- glass not half full to-day .. running on empty !

a cup of tea I think !

Can I ask why you former partner is not actually making any financial contribution to your daughter's upkeep, and is she aware of your bankruptcy?
