Well he's rang and she's fine, although was a little pre-occupied (don't laugh) looking for her teeth as she's mislaid them! Hubby told her not to sit on them or they might bite her on the bum! Think that was wasted on her!

She knows about the holiday and will write the cheque as soon as we've found something for the whole amount. x

That made me smile Lesley! My mum would kill me if she knew I'd posted this, but I went to see her once and she wouldn't look at me properly and kept putting her hand up to her face but wouldn't tell me what was wrong.

I was sitting on the sofa when I saw what I thought was a screwed up piece of kitchen roll, but when I picked it up her teeth were wrapped in it!

She'd been looking for them but wouldn't tell me she'd lost them, and I don't know to this day why they were wrapped in kitchen roll!

A friend of mine was a student nurse on an elderly care ward and was told to clean the patients false teeth and yes you guessed it she emptied all the individual teeth baths in to one large bowl. Apprently it took all the following day to get the right teeth in the right mouths [:D]

She has never lived that down even now 30 years later and very respected nursing sister.
