Remember if you have a house in negative equity then really you own 0% of that property. I understand that the potential of losing a house can be traumatic but it's important to remember that it could be looked as being the secured lenders that currently own the house and not you.

From our perspective

I have to agree that we have been more than surprised with the move into rented accomodation.

It is not a diaster and something to be ashamed about as we first thought. I guess it was that our lives were being so far streched and at long last we are getting our life back after a difficult time.

Our experience of managing agents was surprisingly sympathetic and one got the feeling they see this a lot!
