My mother is the one - she watches tennis. She has no idea at all of the rules, even though it must be the easiest game in the world to follow. She still watches it though!

Test match tomorrow again - and therefore I am working from home!!! Scones and jam for afternoon tea - could not be better!! And my Cardiff Blues season ticket arrived today, so the rugby season is just around the corner again.

Dave's off work at the moment so he'll be able to watch the cricket - unfortunately he's not keen on it!

I'll have the BBC scorecard up again [:(]

Of course I will Jan!

Sorry Whetlor, I know almost nothing about Gaelic football. My knowledge is limited to what's mentioned in Saw Doctors songs!

I know next to nothing about that as well - it's football, cricket, F1 and athletics for me!

Cricket, MotoGP, World and British Superbikes and Baseball for me.

Hubby likes snooker (don't mind sometimes) and watches boxing if I'm not at home.

My Mum is glued to the snooker every time it is on the telly, and can tell you everything there is to know about the game, although I doubt she has ever picked up a snooker cue. She also loves the darts as well, so we get that every January when it is on. Hubby used to play in the Embassy league (a long time ago!) so professes to be the resident expert!

I will watch snooker as well, although (and I'm showing my age here!) I don't like many of the players now, they are so boring! My dad was a big fan and I grew up watching Alex Higgins and Jimmy White.

I can remember being allowed to stay up to watch Dennis Taylor beat Steve Davis in 1985 - I was 10 and felt very grown up!

Does he sit on the edge of the river bank all day waiting for something to bite? I am not sure I could sit there doing that - especially if it is raining.

The staff in my Belfast office are big fans of Gaelic football, and I had not realised how big it is until I went to Croke Park in Dublin for the rugby last year and appreciated the size of that stadium.
